Need a small hatchback with high ground clearance

I am looking for a small hatchback with high ground clearance and room for the dog in the boot. Long-term reliability is very important and it must be economical to run and cheap to repair.

Dacia Sandero Stepway probably best (and definitely cheapest). 900cc 3 cylinder petrol turbo or 1.5 litre di diesel. Have to buy extras such as a spare wheel.
