Buying a large MPV - Ford B-MAX or Citroen C3 Picasso?

We have decided to opt for the C3 Picasso BlueHDi 100 Platinum; however Motability have allowed us to change our mind if we wish to before delivery. The reason is because after contacting yourself last time, you made it clear that DPF systems are not suitable for short journeys.

Do you prefer the Ford B-Max or any other rival over the C3 Picasso? I would have liked diesel but I think petrol is a safer bet. The FIAT 500X looks good but I'm not sure about the automatic handbrake.

You could go for the C3 Picasso with the excellent 1.2 Puretech 110 petrol engine, but it doesn't matter too much with a Motability car because any problems (apart from inconvenience) are Motability's, not yours.
