dual mass flywheel

my terracan has started to get a little stiff to go into gear it only seems to be when you try to go through the gear box fast ie from traffic lights going from 1st to 2nd to 3rd...on road trips changing gear is ok but sometimes going to 5th is a bit noisy its like missing a gear .the motor has done 100,100 miles and is in very good condition and apart from this problem is running fine. I have had it looked at and have been told its the dual mass flywheel is it worth replacing. Have been quoted £700 to do it but need the car for holiday.

Makes sense to replace the clutch as well as the DMF and that £700 quote was low. I'd do it before undertaking any long trips.
