TCS warning light on Skoda Octavia Scout
I own a 2004 Skoda Octavia Scout. I've noticed that the TCS warning light has come on and stayed on. My local Skoda dealer has done a diagnostic check and says it needs new ABS control unit at £1321. Dealer says it will fail MOT if not fixed and warning light stays illuminated. Is there a lower cost independent supplier/repairer?

Yes. The ABS/ESP module can be removed and sent to www.ecutesting.com who will replace the brake pressure sensor inside it and return it to you at a cost of around £400, to which you will have to add removal and refitting charges.
