An extra mot is showing on mot history, which did not happen
Today 23/03/2016 I got my BMW its MoT.
On checking the certificate it says a MoT took place on 05/08/2015.
However I only bought the car on 29/07/2015, so the above MoT never took place.
It now gives the impression that my car may be clocked.
How can right this.

I'm guessing that what happened is that the dealer or previous keeper re-MoTd the car within a month of the MoT due date and did this before you bought the car. You can get almost 13 months MoT that way. But a question remains why, if the MoT lasted to 5-8-2016 you had the car MoTd on 23-3-2016?
