Ford Focus TDCI turbo failure

The turbocharger on my Ford Focus TDCI (2005 model) has failed. I've paid to have a new one fitted, but been told there is basically no guarantee that it wont go again. My question is has anyone had this problem and managed to fix it without it going again?

When replacing a turbo it is essential to replace the turbo bearing oil feed and oil return pipes at the same time because they get blocked with carbon and without lubrication the new turbo will soon fail.
