Fiesta or Yaris - which one do you recommend?
I am looking at buying the Ford Fiesta 1.6 Zetec Powershift 105PS with Fordsync Bluetooth USB and rear parking sensors - the ford dealership want £9,995 and won't budge on price. I am concerned about reliability and cost of servicing. I have read something about Powershift problems.
Or should I go for a Toyota Yaris 1.33 Icon Plus would again be around the same price?

Problems with Ford Sync Bluetooth. Problems with the dry clutch Powershift transmission. So though it's great to drive I can't recommend this model Fiesta at any price. Even if Ford has now sorted out the Powershift, the car in question can't be new so could still be subject to the problem. Yes, Powershifts need a fluid and filter change every 3 years and if that is neglected they often fail, but the issues with the dry clutch powershift seem to be with the clutch pack. A current Yaris has a CVT transmission and I have received no reports of problems with it. But if I was you I'd go for a Honda Jazz 1.4 i-VTEC CVT-7.
