Turbo charger oil leak - where to fix it?
I have a 1.6 Hyundai i130 diagnosed on last service as having a small oil leak from the turbo. The car is several months out of warranty. Should I have rectification work carried out by my Hyunadai main dealer or go to a local diesel specialist? I currently have a service contract with my main dealer.

Not unusual for any diesel turbo bearing oil seals to leak at this sort of age and mileage. If Hyundai will not help, then probably better to get a replacement reconditioned turbo from www.turbotechnics.co.uk/ Absolutely essential to also replace the oil feed pipe from the engine to the turbo and oil return pipe because they are likely to be blocked with carbon.
