MOT check website

I don't know if any of your readers have seen the following website in the news where you can check on a cars MOT history.

https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history-vehicle

Very useful for buying so you can check everything is in order, and for curiosity to see how an unreliable car I had 8 years ago is still failing MOT's.. Also glad to see my recently purchased MX5 has had no failures over recent years.

Helpful for buyers but maybe not for some sellers..

Proper Government site, too. Very useful. Of course, you can't take MoT mileages as gospel because testers often make mistakes such as putting down a trip mileage and if an owner unhooks his odometer in between MoTs it does not record the car's true mileage anyway.
