Mixing cross climate and summer tyres - is it wise?

I know that mixing all season tyres with summer tyres is regarded as unsafe. However, as Michelin Cross Climate are regarded as a summer tyre, is it okay to mix these with other summer tyres? My front tyres need replacing and I'm considering fitting some Cross Climates to provide better traction in the winter.

No. Only use a full set. These tyres aren't just about traction. They also provide stability and you need a full set.
