Am I better off buying left-hand drive?

I will be spending six months a year living in Spain and need a car to travel there and back in and would like to know if I am better buying a LHD British registered car or to purchase one that is Spanish registered in Spain.

The car has to be registered to you at your residential address and also insured to your residential address. Very difficult to buy a British registered LHD car unless it comes like that as standard. If it's a model usually sold with RHD in the UK, then a LHD would have to have its lights and speedo altered for the UK before it could be registered in the UK. I'd simply forget LHD.
