When does a Volkswagen Beetle need a cam belt replaced?

I'm wanting to buy a beetle and have found a 2004 2.0-litre petrol beetle 78k miles. 1 lady owner and full service history for £2295. Is this a good price? And also the garage owner says that the recommendation on 2.0lfor the cam belt replacement is 120k miles but I've been told elsewhere it's between 60k-80kmiles?
