Nissan Micra airflow sensor

I have just had a new Air Flow Sensor fitted to my Nissan Micra and the engine light will not go off. Does this mean the sensor is faulty or the garage have not done the work correctly?

The mass airflow sensor of a K11 Micra is part of the throttle body and is actually very difficult to replace alone without replacing the entire throttle body. So either it might not have been replaced correctly, or the fault codes in the ECU have not been cleared.
