Will a Skoda Yeti tow a 1000kg caravan?
I am nearing retirement and will be giving up my diesel all-wheel drive Ford Kuga. I cover around 5000 miles per year and need a smallish petrol 4x4 to tow my 1000kg caravan.
I would like Skoda Yeti 1.8TSi which would suit my everyday needs, avoiding the DMF/DPF problems, but even with 160PS, would it struggle towing a small caravan?

That will have no problem towing your 1000kg caravan and is a hoot to drive. Far more enjoyable than any other Yeti. More fun than a Golf GTI. And now has the improved EA888 manifold in head petrol engine that overcomes the problems that earlier 1.6 and 2.0TSI VAG engines had.
The only downsides are that some bits of the Yeti, such as the satnav, are now a bit dated and you'll be lucky to get more than 35mpg.
