Ford Focus diesel losing power
I had a problem with the turbo on my Ford Focus 1.6 diesel (2007 model). The bearings failed due to a blocked oil strainer. I went for a refurbished BTN turbo replacement with the full fitting kit (oil strainer, new oil feed pipe and banjo bolts, new seals).
I took the sump off, cleaned it totally, cleaned the all pipes going too and from the turbo and fitted it with a new oil filter and change of oil.
Now I have it going but it seems very sluggish in power. The turbo is operating, but I'm not getting the same boost I was before. Any ideas what could be wrong?

Would suggest that at this stage you carry out a diagnostic check to see if you get a fault code/s.( should be P ---- 4 numbers) .
Doing this will then clarify if you have any sensors at fault.
