Which lane should I use to go straight over a roundabout?
When I approached a roundabout with the intention of going straight through, I approached it on the left lane, but another car came up beside me on the right, squeezing between me and the roundabout, to go straight ahead and beeped at me. I have a full licence and was always of the understanding that when going left or straight through at a roundabout, you should be in the left lane.

If it's two lanes into one you should be in the left lane, but can use the right lane. If it's two lanes into two you use either lane. But you shouldn't have straight-lined the roundabout with another car beside you.
