Is the Skoda Fabia better than the Kia Venga?

I need to replace my much loved 2006 Ford Focus 1.8 petrol manual, after 117,000 trouble free miles. The new Focus is too bulky and the boot is too small. I like the Skoda Fabia Estate 1.2 petrol 110PS or Kia Venga 3 1.6 123PS. Which car would you recommend?

The Fabia is the newest model with the newest tech: MQB subframes and latest 1.2TSI engine. Should be more economical. Only lacks the KIA's seven year warranty.
