Poor fuel economy - are drivers to blame?
I was looking at your Real MPG section and checked my 2007 Nissan Qashqai; it shows a Real MPG of 47mpg which is not that great really I think. I drive the car like how it's supposed to be driven, change gear at 2000rpm, gradual acceleration and braking and I achieve around 55 and 56mpg. Does it ever annoy you when people go on about crap poor economy when it could be them that's the issue?
I think there should be major changes to the driving test to ensure people drive sensibly and they are shown the benefits.

Enter your figures into Real MPG and it will alter the average. Of course it depends how you drive. But Real MPG is realistic because it represents an average of all types of driving in all conditions on all grades of fuel and also an average between dash meter measurement and brim to brim measurement. So it gives a true average, which is the only figure that matters: www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/
