Gearbox whine on Mercedes CLK
I have noticed a slight whine in the gearbox of my 2005 Mercedes-Benz CLK. The car has only covered 30,000 miles since new and has a full service history. However, there appears to be no simple way of checking the gearbox oil. Should I be worried?

Have a member of www.fedauto.co.uk check it. Sometimes the transmission oil heat exchanger in the radiator fails with disastrous consequences. But I think your box may simply need a change of automatic transmission fluid.
