Are diesel Fiestas any good?
Are the diesel Ford Fiestas after 2008 any good? I need a car for covering 9000 miles a year and like the bodykit on the upmarket Fiestas. However, it's not available on the 1.25 petrol and I dont want to get a car which will cost a lot to run, hence why I'm avoiding the 1.6 petrol and above.

The 1.6TDCI is okay, very economical, and manages without a dual mass flywheel. Best on 14-inch wheels with 175/65 R14 tyres because they give a better ride. But a bodykit will just look stupid on an economy diesel. Not only that, bigger wheels and lower profile tyres will use more fuel as well as spoil the ride. Don't go near the 1.4 diesel.
