Will performance fuels fix my car's misfire?
My BMW 3 Series Touring sometimes misfires and starts jerking (kangaroo style), on a trailing/light throttle about 1500rpm as though its in too high a gear when its not.
BMW have queried what fuel I use but I always use a good brand Shell or BP. I've thought about trying a tank full of V-power or similar. The car runs fine all the rest of the time. What do you think?

Do it. Run it exclusively on Shell V-Power Nitro Plus for a couple of tankfuls. If you still have a problem, then could be the mass airflow sensor, could be the valve mechanism.
