Which wheels for a V40?
I am considering buying the Volvo V40 XC D2 Powershift. 17-inch wheels appear to be standard although 16" wheels are available at no extra cost, which should I choose and why please?

For actually going cross country, chose the 16" wheels which will probably come with 55 or 60 profile tyres as these will give more grip in mud and snow and shrug off rocks, etc. better with less chance of damage to the wheel rims. For road use the 17" wheels have 50 profile tyres and ride comfort is not too badly compromised for the sake of better ultimate cornering grip.
