Yeti automatic doesn't engage at low speeds
I have driven many different autos for over 20 years, but can't master control of my Skoda Yeti. When wanting to pull away, I gently depress the accelerator, ease my foot off the brake and nothing happens. I then press the accelerator a bit more and then lurch off with wheel spin.
Hill starts are also a nightmare too and half of the time I roll back because the auto gearbox had given every impression of engaging but then decided it wasn't that motivated after all.
Also, the auto has a habit of lurching back & forth between two gears when travelling at 'urban' speeds (15-35mph). Are you able to advise likely causes & remedies please? Characteristic of Yetis?

The VAG dry clutch seven-speed DSG/s-tronic has been a disaster. Clutch packs fail. Mechatronics fail (there is currently a recall to change the fluid from synthetic to mineral, but often the damage has already been done), and the brake light switch can stick, sending a message to the ECU not to allow acceleration. Yours is the third complaint today alone.
