Faulty indicators on Ford Focus
The driver's side indicators on my 2006 Ford Focus have started playing up - if I signal to go right, the lights flash at about three times the normal speed, as does the 'tick' noise! Oddly, left indicate is fine.
Questions:
1. Could it be a blown/faulty fuse? If so, whilst I'm checking, should I remove the fuse and test with a meter, or test in-situ (will the cars electrics be OK with the small check current from a meter?)
2. If it's an electronic fault - body control module or the is their a separate module for the indicators - where are they situated?

Most likely to be caused by a failed/rusted earth to one of the sider repeater indicators.
