Buying a small hatchback - which model is best?
Please can you advise the most suitable car for me. I am hoping for reliability in a car for 10 years driving around 8000 miles per annum. A fairly small hatchback would suit and I want a car with a comfortable seat. At present I have a Volkswagen Golf Estate. Should I replace it or is it sensible for me to run the existing car for a few more years?

The forthcoming new Skoda Fabia is the most up to date small VAG hatchback of its size, so is the most 'future proofed': www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/skoda/skoda-fabia-.../
An Octavia estate is a much bigger and considerably more sold feeling car. To drive, I rate the Mazda 3 as best in class, and Mazda 3s regularly come out near the top in European reliability surveys people like TUV.
