Skoda Octavia won't engage gears
I have a 2002 Skoda Octavia 1.9 TDi. I started it today and reversed it off the drive. I was then able to get it out of reverse with some difficulty but it will now not engage any gear when the engine is running.
It will engage gears when the engine it is stopped. It has been a bit 'notchy' for a while but nothing serious and it has never failed to engage gears before. It has done 107,000 miles, been regularly serviced and apart from a new cam belt had nothing of any note replaced.
