Need a used estate for £6000 - what do you recommend?

I have £6000 to spend on a used estate car. It must be large enough for dogs, grand kids and holiday luggage. What would you recommend?

The amount of enthusiasm for Skoda Octavia estates speaks for itself. A good alternative is a KIA cee'd 1.6CRDI SW, preferably pre 2010 so it has no diesel particulate filter to worry about.
