Squeaky gearbox on Ford Mondeo
I own a Mk3 Ford Mondeo 2.0 TDCI, with 136,000 miles on the clock. When changing down and releasing the clutch there is an annoying squeak. Repeatedly depressing and releasing the clutch causes it every time and it sounds like a rubber bush mounting or similar. Any ideas please?

It has to be the clutch mechanism. Maybe a rubber pedal bush has worn, maybe the clutch master cylinder has worn, maybe the clutch slave cylinder has worn.
