What's the best used seven-seater for £12k?

What options are there for petrol seven-seaters? My wife drives 6000 miles per year, most local, with a handful of trips to family and relatives which are round trips of about 300-400 miles.

I have looked at the Galaxy 1.6 ecoboost but would this be up to the challenge of hauling around something this big, or are thee any other viable options. Ideally looking for something within the £10,000 - £12,000 range.

Don't know if you'd get a Galaxy 1.6 Ecoboost for £12k.Found one for £12,500 here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/used-prices/Ford/Galaxy/?q=1....c But it would do the job. Answered the same question for someone thinking about an S-Max with the same engine. It develops its maximum torque lower in the rev range than the diesels, so pulls okay.
