Downsizing to one car - what should I buy?

We want to downsize to one car. Our priorities are safety, efficiency, good all round vision, ample boot space, ease of entry and parking. Can you suggest something. How about the Skoda Fabia?,

The Fabia is about to be replaced by a new model Fabia. Hard to beat a Yaris. For the most fun, a Fiesta.
