My Vauxhall Corsa has blown oil all over the engine - what's caused this?
My oil light came on in my 2002 Vauxhall Corsa 2002 yesterday. When I pulled over to check the oil the whole of the underside of the bonnet and engine was covered in oil. I filled it up with oil to enable me to get home, and once I was home I checked again and it had done the same thing. I did notice the coolant bottle was empty - could these be linked? The engine has had a rattle for a few weeks now.

Reads terminal to me. Possibly head gasket or cracked head. Get it towed to a garage.
