Replacing the coil pack in my 2007 BMW 1 Series gave better fuel economy.

I thought you may like to know of some problems with my BMW 120i M Sport 07/57. About 12 months ago the "stop/start" feature stopped working due to a faulty low fuel pressure sensor. Then a month ago it started to "stutter" under acceleration. After a software update it was found to need a new coil pack. Both problems were rectified under warranty. Strangely I am now getting 5mpg better fuel economy.

If the stop/start was not working properly and a coil was faulty then this would have affected the fuel economy.
