Buying a used Golf - what should I be aware of?
I am looking for a used hatchback. I have found a 2010 Volkswagen Golf, 1.6 TDI BlueMotion with 76,000 on the clock for £8500. I do a reasonable number of long journeys and am not too worried about particulate filter. Are there any issues with this model's diesel engine or anything else I should be aware of?

Don't do it. Bad engine. Lots of problems. And this one close to all the problems coming in at once: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/volkswagen/golf-vi-2...d
