Can I reduce road noise in my Ford Focus with different tyres?

I have a latest model Ford Focus 1.6 TDi and it's great apart from the road noise. I will shortly be fitting new tyres - any suggestions about which tyres might reduce the road noise?

You need to change the road wheels to 15-inch and fit Michelin Energy Saver 195/65 R15s, but they won't be as quiet in winter.
