Rotten egg smell - is it the catalytic converter?
My Daihatsu Terios has developed a rotten egg smell, emitting from the exhaust. Is it the catalytic converter? Should Diahatsu replace the vehicle?

Will be the cat converter, probably as a result of the sulphur in the petrol you have been using. Use better petrol and the cat converter should not have a problem. (Daihatsus have not been officially imported to the UK since 2009)
