Where can I get a dashcam?
I'm interested in buying an in-car video camera and tried to find some information about it on your website. Can you please let me know where I can find it? Is there one you would recommend for ease of download to a computer and a loop time of 15 mins or more?

I'm using a SmartWitness (www.smartwitness.co.uk). Because it uses GPS to pinpoint the location of the crash, its recordings are evidential. Halfords now sell a range of dashcams, and there are links to other suppliers here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/useful-websites/parts-accesso.../
There are some warnings about fitting them. They cannot legally be within the swept area of the wipers (which makes them useless in the rain) unless in an area already obscured by the rear view mirror or sun visors. And they cannot emit any light.

I need a dash cam that can be powered by the USB socket in my car, is there such a thing? Alternatively, is it possible to have some form of extension lead that has a 12v socket and plug?
