Thanks for your help with a parking charge dispute.
I am pleased to say that APCOA has rather unwillingly agreed to drop its demands for me to pay a fine in respect of a parking charge I had already paid. Thank you for your help and advice in this matter, which gave me a comfortable last ditch position in case court action was taken. I know you are busy but if you have time the attached may give you the odd chuckle. Feel free to use any of it if you want.

Extraordinary. I did manage to find time to read that through. Congratulations on your tenacity. Unfortunately the relevant clause of the Protection of Freedoms Act shows all the signs of successful lobbying. No sane or honest minister would ever have allowed this to happen. Parking Enforcement went from a £100 million a year business to a £200 million a year business virtually overnight. That's what it's all about.
