Where can I have my Jaguar XJ6's alloy wheels refurbished?
I have found over the years that the alloy wheels on my 2005 Jaguar XJ6 are very easily damaged as the rims protrude from the surrounding tyres. I had them refurbished by a "specialist" but realised some months later that it was a poor job. Is there any sort of quality standard relating to these companies where one could feel confident about their workmanship and also, do you have any experience of the wheel protection system produced by AlloyGator. Do they really work?

Alloygators look great, but many kerb scuffs are such high impact that I think they would get chewed off. There is no standard relating to alloy wheel refurbishing. I can give you a list of specialists, but as information, not recommendations. www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/damage/
