I'm about to get a new top spec Mazda 6 as a company car - should I report back on my experiences over the next three years?
My company Skoda Superb estate was wrecked in December last year and since then I have been driving around in an Octavia estate from the company pool, which took me 17,000 kilometres in six months from Normandy to the UK, Spain, Portugal and Belgium very agreeably. I am now on the verge of receiving a new company Mazda 6 in top spec with the 175bhp 2.2-litre diesel engine (company does not allow petrol for tax reasons in France) and auto gearbox. I will keep you posted on how it pans out for me. Sadly, due to residual values I could not order the estate. If all goes well I should be able to report back on the 6 for three years and approximately 120,000 kilometres.

Please do. But couldn't you get the Mazda 6 Skyactiv D 150 station wagon within budget rather than spending it on the 175? I'm running a Skyactiv D 150 SE-L Nav auto saloon and it's brilliant. Softer, quieter ride on 17-inch wheels than on 19-inch.
