Where can my elderly mother take refresher driving training?
My mum had a minor stroke recently, and wants to return to driving ASAP - she is 81 years old. I think the DVLA says you have to wait a minimum of a month, and I'm going to ask her GP to assess her first, but I seem to remember an article on older peoples' refresher driver training?

The Institute of Advanced Motorists can help with this (iam.org.uk) and so can RoSPA. But your county council may offer this kind of course. Many do. Take a look at its website.
