Should my son buy an Audi TT Coupe with 19-inch wheels?
My son is in the process of buying an Audi TT Coupe 1.8T FSI S Line. He has specified 19-inch 5 segment spoke design alloys. You frequently comment on problems with 18 and 19-inch wheels regarding comfort and cost. Is he making a mistake? He expects to take delivery in September.

19-inch wheels with 255/35 R19 tyres are absolute madness. He will be forever buckling the rims and having to replace damaged or rapidly worn tyres. And unless it has "magnetic suspension" he could also damage his spine. Not only that, there's a new model TT on the way.
