Which diesel MPV do you recommend for use in Spain?

We have a second home in Spain and are considering buying a Spanish car. Secondhand prices are remarkably high. We like the van-based vehicles such as the Kangoo, and are considering a Dacia Dokker with the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine as a relatively cheap new car. We would be driving at least 150 km on the motorway at the beginning and end of each visit, so a DPF shouldn't be a problem. What do you think of Dacia?

The used car trade in Southern Spain is largely under the mafia-like control of former horse traders, but Dacias have a good reputation for reliability in Europe. The UK now has the Duster and Sandero; the Stepway and new Logan MCV are on the way. But we don't get the Dokker. However, it is covered here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/dacia/dokker-2012/

Are you sure you meant the Dokker (which is a van) and not the Lodgy (which is an MPV)?: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/dacia/lodgy-2012/
