Where is best to sell our Rover 75 and Renault Clio?
We have had two cars for years, a small local run-around and a larger one for longer trips. Now both over 80 and disliking driving long distances, we want to reduce to one car for all our requirements. At present we have a 2005 Rover 75 Connoisseur SE V6 with 31,000 on the clock, and a 2007 Renault Clio Campus with 26,000. What we want is a medium-sized four-door car for all uses and we are looking principally for reliability, economy and comfort. What would you suggest and what sort of prices might we expect for the present two, please?

Glass's trade for the Rover (assuming auto) is a mere £1600 plus £575 for the low mileage. I think that is an underestimate, because the 75 is fast becoming a modern classic and it might start to appreciate, so I would not offload it for such low money. The Clio 1.2 Campus trades at £1875 plus £375 for the low miles. I'd move that one on, or simply sell it using www.sure-sell.info
If you still want to get rid of both cars, I'd seriously consider a Ford B-Max to replace both. The 1.0 EcoBoost is the best, but they also do a 1.6 automatic.
