Can you recommend a specialist who can repair a misfuelling error?
On Saturday evening, with the distance to empty stating 40 miles on his 2002 Audi A4 1.9 TDI estate, my father misfuelled, putting approximately 25 litres of unleaded into the tank before realising. He has not started the car since, but pushed it to the edge of the forecourt, where it now stands. Can we resolve this ourselves, or do we need a £200+ specialist? If we push the car off the forecourt, can we siphon out the petrol by simply putting a hose into the fuel tank and sucking the fuel into jerry cans?

No. You need a specialist. You cannot siphon fuel from a modern tank. The specialist will take the fuel away: www.autofuelfix.com/
