Need a used seven seater - what do you recommend>

I need some advice on buying a new second hand car. We are a family of six, with two adults and four children under the age of 10. We have looked at the Ford Galaxy, Seat Alhambra and Renault Grand Scenic, but whilst they are all seven seaters, the second row of seats massively compromises on boot space.

We then looked at Chrysler Grand Voyager as its boot is not compromised. It also has a sliding door and space between seats makes it easy to get kids in/out of car. However, some friends have strongly advised us not to buy this car.

We now do not know where to go - Grand Voyagers are apparently not suitable, however all other seven seaters do not seem to be the same size! Any suggestions?

I wouldn't get a Grand Voyager. Clumsy and not very reliable.

Remember that is you have six in a Galaxy, Sharan or Alhambra you can fold away one of the rearmost seats. You can's do that in a grand Voyager because the rearmost seat is a bench.

Proper seven-seat practicality which is more than you can say for most SUVs, practical and spacious even with all seven seats occupied, sliding rear doors are a real boon especially the electric versions.
