Company car options - Mercedes or BMW?
I'm coming up to picking my next company car and have (probably) narrowed it down to the facelifted Mercedes-Benz E-Class 250CDI (auto box with AMG kit) or BMW 520/525D M Sport. I’ll do 30,000 miles a year (mostly the commute to work) and pay own fuel costs. What would you recommend?

I don't know why you want the AMG stuff or the Sport model. It's simply going to give you a harder ride and wear out its (expensive) tyres faster and skid all over the place in the snow. Better the SE and save a bit of BIK tax. Of the two I'd go for the 525D.
