Buying a used car - Kia, Ford or Vauxhall?
I am thinking of buying a Kia cee’d a Ford Focus or Vauxhall Astra, all on a 2012 plate, 1.6 diesel and all the base model and average 10,000 miles. What would be the best buy?

KIA cee'd, due to the seven year warranty, would be my choice. All will have DMFs, but never heard of a DPF problem with the Hyundai/KIA 1.6CRD engine, but then they have only has DPFs since mid 2010.
The Astra will be a 1.7 diesel, not the new 1.6 diesel, and that was a coarse old engine. The Focus will have the relatively new 1.6 8v TDCI 115 and I have yet to hear of any trouble with it.
