Does the Volkswagen Passat have any oil pump issues?
I'm thinking of buying a new Volkswagen Passat, but remember older models suffering with an oil pump issue. Is this still the case?

You're right, older models did suffer with oil pump problems, but this seems to have been rectified. We've not seen any issues with the current model since 2011.
