Which car is best for the daily commute?
I now need to buy a new car; my commute is 15 miles of twisty A road and then 35 miles of dual carriageway. Economy and reliability are key for me. Would you recommend a Skoda Citigo and what sort of economy do you think I could expect?

Citroen C1, Peugeot 107 or Toyota Aygo would be a better bet. They're cheaper to buy and all under 100g/km of CO2, so free VED (even though the saving is only £20 a year). They are averaging 55.2mpg in real life v/s 54.6mpg for the Citigo (58.3 for the more expensive Greentech).

I do approximately 20,000 miles per year, of which the majority is motorway driving. Can you recommend a car with good fuel economy on a budget of £6000?
I'm based in London, and since moving here I've generally gotten away with riding a 50cc Vespa, but would now like to get myself a car so as to get out of town on the weekends (Cornwall, Cotswolds, etc..).
