Buying a new Mazda3 - which model is best?
I'm on my third Mazda3 1.6D and was looking forward to buying the newest model. However, without a 1.6 diesel in the new range, and the 2.2D Skyactiv being too large for my needs, I am not sure what to buy. What would you suggest I get? I have £16,000 -£18,500 to spend.

Better buy a new Skyactiv 3 with the 2.0 120PS petrol engine, from £16,995. Test and video just uploaded: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/mazda/mazda-3-2014.../
Diesels start at £19,245 but are far better equipped, lower CO2 and more economical than Mazda3s with the PSA 1.6 diesel.
